Marvel Rivals players may have just received a huge early look at the game’s next three seasons. A new leak claims to reveal several upcoming heroes planned for Season 9, Season 10, and Season 11, giving players a possible roadmap for the rest of the year.

The leak comes shortly after the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 8.5, which officially added Cyclops as the newest hero, along with a new 18v18 map, new events, and more cosmetics. NetEase has not confirmed the leaked future heroes, so everything should be treated as subject to change for now. However, it’s already known that the developer plans new heroes at least a year in advance, and 2025 was just a warm-up year for the team.

Marvel Rivals could add more villains to the roster

According to a leak by X0XLeak, Marvel Rivals Season 9 will bring Jubilee and The Hood as the next two heroes. This lines up with recent speculation around both characters, as they have repeatedly appeared in leaks and community discussions.

Jubilee would be a natural fit after the arrival of Cyclops, especially with Marvel Rivals continuing to build out its X-Men roster. While her role has not been officially confirmed, previous reports have suggested that she could arrive as a Strategist, which would make sense given her potential to support teammates with fireworks-based abilities.

The Hood is the more surprising addition, but he could be just as interesting from a gameplay perspective. Unlike many of the more recognizable Marvel heroes, The Hood would be a villain, and that may be precisely what the hero shooter needs.

Earlier this year, the development team teased the addition of more villains to the roster, and The Hood could be the first in line. Season 9 is set to come out on July 10, and its heroes should be revealed shortly before.

Doctor Doom may be a playable character in Marvel Rivals

Season 10 may be where Marvel Rivals gets even more interesting. According to the popular leaker, Gorr and Nightcrawler are currently planned as the Season 10 heroes, although this is subject to change. Once again, NetEase may add a villain, which seems to be a move in the right direction.

Gorr could be one of the darkest heroes added to Marvel Rivals, and there’s a good chance that he would be a Vanguard. On the other side, Nightcrawler would certainly be fun to play with thanks to his teleportation abilities. However, their roles haven’t been confirmed yet. Season 10 should launch in mid-September, so we are still months away from the hero reveal.

Marvel Rivals Season 11 may be even bigger, as the leak claims that Doom is planned alongside another currently unknown hero. This would be a massive moment for Marvel Rivals, since Doctor Doom has been part of the game’s story since the beginning. In fact, the very first season in the hero shooter was called Dooms’ Rise.

Doom has already appeared as a non-playable character, so adding him to the roster would make sense. If NetEase ends up doing this, we can expect more storyline villains to become playable characters in the future, including Dracula, Knull, and Kingpin.
