Marvel Rivals players have been waiting for a second new hero since Season 10 launched with only one. Now, a new leak based on a gallery card claims that Marvel Rivals Season 11 will add both Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler and Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom, two characters who have been tied to the game for well over a year.
The leak comes shortly before Marvel Rivals Season 10.5, which arrives on October 9, 2026, without a new hero. NetEase has not confirmed either character, so it’s important to note that everything is subject to change. However, the developer has already promised two heroes for Season 11.
Nightcrawler and Doom could both arrive in Marvel Rivals Season 11
According to a leak by X0XLeak, Nightcrawler and Doom are the two heroes planned for Marvel Rivals Season 11. The same leaker listed Doom for the season back in June, when the next six Marvel Rivals heroes leaked, but the second hero was unknown at the time.
The leak comes from a gallery card, which makes it more credible than a regular rumor. In the past, these gallery card images have always hinted at upcoming heroes. A Season 8.5 gallery card teased Jubilee and The Hood ahead of Season 9, and Gorr was teased the same way before his Season 10 release.
Nightcrawler was originally one of the two heroes expected in Season 10, alongside Gorr the God Butcher. However, NetEase released only Gorr and replaced the mid-season hero with two Avengers game modes, as the team shifted its focus to Path to Doomsday. The leak suggests that the X-Men teleporter was simply moved to Season 11.

Nightcrawler has been in the game’s files for a long time. A datamine from January 2025 listed him as a Duelist, and his teleportation would likely make him one of the most mobile heroes on the roster. However, NetEase has not confirmed his role or his abilities yet.
Doom would be an even bigger addition, as he has been the main villain of Marvel Rivals since the game launched on December 6, 2024, with a season called Doom’s Rise. However, Doom only appeared as a non-playable hero in this season, so adding him as a playable character would be a first.
The leak also lines up with what NetEase has said. In Dev Vision Vol. 21, creative director Guangguang explained that a one-hero season is not the new normal and that two heroes are planned for Marvel Rivals Season 11. It’s still unknown which of the two heroes would arrive first, as NetEase has not officially named them.
