Gameplay Features

Pragmata centers on the dynamic relationship between Hugh, a spacefarer in a heavy specialized suit, and Diana, an android girl with reality-warping hacking abilities. As you explore a lunar research station overtaken by a hostile AI called IDUS, you must get to grips with the game’s combat and environmental manipulation. In this dynamic, Hugh provides the firepower with a modular arsenal, while Diana hacks into the station's infrastructure to open paths or create openings in enemy armour.

The world itself is a standout feature, including "Fake New York" – an uncanny recreation of Earth generated by the station's AI to mimic human life. Between missions, you’ll retreat to the Shelter, a customizable hub where you can upgrade gear, interact with Diana to strengthen your bond, and piece together the history of the colony through recovered data. Pragmata Sketchbook Demo

For those who want to experience the lunar atmosphere early, the Pragmata: Sketchbook demo is available now on all platforms. This trial version allows you to play through the introductory chapter, introducing you to the core movement, combat, and hacking mechanics. Progress made in the demo carries over to the full game, and completing it rewards you with an exclusive Sketchbook filter for the in-game Photo Mode.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a multiplayer mode?

No. Pragmata is a strictly single-player experience focused on the narrative journey of Hugh and Diana.

Is Diana playable?

You primarily control Hugh, but Diana is a constant companion who assists with specialized hacking skills and combat support. Some environmental puzzles also require you to guide her specifically.

Is Pragmata an open-world game?

While it features large, open zones within the lunar base that encourage exploration, it is a focused, narrative-driven action-adventure rather than a traditional open-world title.

Does the game support the Diana Amiibo?

Yes! Launching alongside the game, the Diana Amiibo provides daily recovery items and crafting materials when scanned.

Is there ray tracing on all consoles?

Quality/Resolution modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X support ray-traced reflections and global illumination. Ray tracing is disabled in Performance Mode (60 FPS) and on the Xbox Series S.
