Fortnite players have been asking for a One Piece collab since the first rumors surfaced in 2024. Now, Epic Games has finally made it official, as a cinematic teaser for the crossover played in-game on Saturday, October 24. The teaser started at 2 PM ET, when the giant pirate chest on the island opened.
The video shows the Going Merry, the first ship of the Straw Hat Pirates, sailing out of the fog before ending on the Fortnite and One Piece logos. However, Epic Games hasn’t shown any One Piece skins yet, so the character lineup is still a mystery.
When is the One Piece collab coming to Fortnite?
The One Piece collab is part of Treasure Hunters, a pirate-themed mini-season that starts on November 1, 2026. Epic Games revealed the name a few hours before the One Piece teaser with a short video captioned “The greatest adventure of all! 11.1.” Chapter 7 Season 4 is set to end on the same day.
It’s important to note that Epic Games hasn’t said whether the One Piece content will arrive at launch or later in the mini-season. As Treasure Hunters is expected to last only about a month before Chapter 8 begins, the Straw Hats will likely show up at some point in November.
Epic Games has also scheduled a bigger announcement for October 25 at 12 PM PT, which should cover the Battle Pass and the full collab lineup. Until then, older leaks are the best clue, as NotPalo previously claimed that the collab would come in two waves, starting with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji.
According to the teaser, the Battle Bus will receive a special One Piece design during the season.
One Piece won’t be the only crew sailing into the new mini-season, though. Six pirate flags appeared in the in-game news feed before the reveal, and the others belong to A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto, and a crew of Fortnite originals. The last flag hasn’t been identified yet.
Before the season comes out, don’t forget to unlock all the free skins in Fortnite. If you still need to finish the Battle Pass before November 1, you can use one of the best XP maps in Fortnite.
