The popular comic book character has completely revolutionized the game, as his role is versatile. This means that he can switch between any role during the match, making him a very valuable addition to any team.
Unfortunately, Deadpool’s role in Marvel Rivals also comes with a major downside. If you don’t like seeing this character in a ranked mode, you will have a hard time banning him. In fact, Deadpool is so good that his overall ban rate will likely be the lowest in the game. Even Black Widow may surpass him!
Can you ban Deadpool in Marvel Rivals?
Deadpool can be used in any role in the game, and he gets certain buffs according to his choice. Due to this, a Deadpool on your team can be a tank, while the enemy team may have Wade Wilson as a support hero. Due to this, the Merc with a Mouth is arguably the most valuable hero in Marvel Rivals.
What makes Deadpool even more valuable is the lack of ban in ranked play. You cannot ban Deadpool completely, as you will have to choose which role to ban. For example, you can ban the hero’s Vanguard role, but you will still be able to use him as a Duelist or a Strategist.
To make things even simpler, you need three bans to completely ban Deadpool from Marvel Rivals. Furthermore, the complete ban is only possible if both teams coordinate their picks or if they get lucky enough to avoid double bans. Each team is entitled to two bans, and with Deadpool having three roles, you won’t be able to ban him without the help of the enemy team.
This system will likely make Deadpool the least-banned hero in the game. While his individual roles will certainly be banned, spending three picks on him will be very rare.
