If you are not careful, you could receive a two-year ban, which is a big deal. The worst thing is that the ban is automatic, and there may be nothing you can do about it.

NexusMods, which already has thousands of mods for Marvel Rivals, is the most popular place for these mods, but if you share them on Discord, you will get in trouble.
Sharing Marvel Rivals mods is now a bannable offense on Discord
For some reason, Discord has started automatically flagging NexusMods links for Marvel Rivals mods. Even though these mods are legitimate, you will receive a copyright infringement violation once you share them. As a result, you will receive a two-year ban.
Now, it’s important to note that this ban will affect your entire Discord account. You won’t only be banned from a specific server, which usually wouldn’t be a big deal. While you can request a ban review, there is no guarantee that the status of your account will change, as most appeals have been rejected.
Pickysaurus, the community manager at NexusMods, believes that the ban is tied to mass-flagging requests from Sony. Considering that the ban is triggered for also sharing Spider-Man mods, this theory makes sense. After all, the company has licensing agreements for the popular Marvel character, which may be the root of the issue.
If you use mods or you are interested in them, avoid sharing them on Discord until this problem has been solved. Even if you just share a single mod link, it could trigger a ban that may keep your account banned until 2028.
