Override has only a few days left, and the Fortnite x One Piece season is next in line. The pirate-themed mini-season is officially called Treasure Hunters, and Epic Games has confirmed that it starts on Sunday, November 1, 2026, the same day that Fortnitemares 2026 ends.
Epic revealed the name and date in a teaser on October 24, and the One Piece collab was confirmed a few hours later. However, the exact start time hasn’t been announced yet, so we’ve put together a countdown based on previous season launches.
Fortnite x One Piece season countdown
Epic Games hasn’t shared the downtime schedule yet, but the servers should go offline at 2 AM ET on November 1, as that’s when downtime began for the Override launch in August. This countdown shows how much time is left until then:
The Fortnite x One Piece season won't be playable right away, though. New seasons usually come with four to five hours of downtime, so players should be able to jump in between 6 AM and 7 AM ET, unless the game developer runs into unexpected issues.
When does the Fortnite One Piece season start?
The Fortnite One Piece season starts on November 1, 2026, with the v43.00 update. Epic captioned its teaser with the date "11.1," and the official Battle Pass page lists the same day as the end of Override.
The start time is still unconfirmed, but the game developer tends to stick to the same schedule when there's no live event. Downtime for Override, Chapter 7 Season 2, and the Star Wars mini-season, Galactic Battle, all began at 2 AM ET, so we expect the new Fortnite season to follow suit.

Fortnite One Piece season release time in every region
These are the expected Fortnite One Piece season release times around the world. As daylight saving time ends in the US on the same morning, the downtime starts at midnight PT instead of the usual 11 PM PT. The UK and Central Europe switched to winter time on October 25, so the table uses GMT and CET.

When will Fortnite servers be back up?
A new Fortnite season usually comes with a longer downtime than a regular update, as Epic needs to swap the Battle Pass, the loot pool, and often the map. The Override launch kept players offline for about four hours, while the Chapter 7 Season 2 downtime was expected to last five hours.
| Season | Launch date | Downtime started | Servers back |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chapter 7 Season 4 (Override) | August 20, 2026 | 2 AM ET | Around 6 AM ET |
| Chapter 7 Season 2 | March 19, 2026 | 2 AM ET | Around 7 AM ET |
| The Simpsons mini-season | November 1, 2025 | 11:30 AM ET, after a live event | Around 5 PM ET |
Based on these launches, the servers should be back up between 6 AM and 7 AM ET. However, the Simpsons mini-season took more than five hours, so the downtime could run longer. The Fortnite Status account on X usually shares updates while the servers are offline.
Will there be a live event before the Fortnite One Piece season?
Epic Games hasn't announced a live event for the end of Override, and leakers haven't confirmed one either. The Simpsons mini-season started right after a live event last year. However, Epic has already used the pirate chest on the island for the One Piece reveal, so we expect a regular overnight downtime this time.

When does Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 end?
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 ends on November 1, 2026, as the official Battle Pass page lists that day in Eastern Time. Override effectively ends when the downtime begins, which is expected at 2 AM ET on November 1.
Fortnitemares 2026 ends at the same time, while the Final Spritemare, a five-day event that boosts rare Sprite drops, wraps up on October 31. Unfortunately, any Battle Pass levels that you haven't reached by then will be gone for good.
Fortunately, Epic Games confirms that unclaimed rewards aren't lost, as players receive them automatically the next time they log in. Sprite Dust, Gizmos, and Lucky Locators were reset to zero when Override began, though, so we recommend using them before the downtime. Collected Sprites stay in the Sprite Garden.

What's coming in the Fortnite One Piece season?
Treasure Hunters is built around rival pirate crews, and the One Piece collab is one of six that Epic has teased. The others include A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto, and a crew of Fortnite originals, while the last crew is still a mystery.
When is One Piece coming to Fortnite?
Epic Games confirmed the collab with a cinematic teaser on October 24, which shows the Going Merry sailing out of the fog. Still, it hasn't said whether the One Piece content will arrive on November 1 or later in the mini-season, and no skins have been revealed yet.
An older leak from NotPalo claimed that the collab would come in two waves, starting with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. It's important to note that Epic hasn't confirmed any of these characters, but the Straw Hats are the most likely candidates, as the teaser revolves around their ship.
A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Hatsune Miku, and Kasane Teto
The other collabs were teased through the giant pirate chest on the island, which played music from each crew throughout the week. A$AP Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert also shared their own teasers, while Hatsune Miku's official account posted a pirate flag featuring Miku and Kasane Teto.
A$AP Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert are expected to join the Icon Series with skins and Jam Tracks. The game developer hasn't announced release dates for any of these collabs, so some of them could arrive later in the mini-season instead of on November 1.
Treasure Hunters Battle Pass
Epic Games hasn't revealed the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass yet. On the other hand, billboards spotted in Madrid and Tokyo show anime versions of Jonesy, Hope, Evie, and Syd, which could be part of the Battle Pass.
The rumored lineup also includes an anime version of Oscar, although he doesn't appear on the billboards. As the Override Battle Pass ends on November 1, the new one should be available as soon as the servers return.
Will Sprites return in the Fortnite One Piece season?
Sprites are also expected to stay in the game, as Epic teased Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto as Sprites in the Treasure Hunters teaser. Players who are still missing a few Sprites can use the Final Spritemare to catch up before the season ends. However, it appears that the game developer will remove Sprites with the release of Fortnite Chapter 8.
How long will the Fortnite One Piece season last?

As Treasure Hunters is a mini-season, it will likely be much shorter than Override. The Simpsons mini-season also started on November 1 last year and lasted four weeks, while leakers expect Chapter 8 to arrive in late November or early December.
According to leakers, Fortnite Chapter 8 is set to begin on December 1, which would give the One Piece season exactly one month. Epic Games hasn't confirmed an end date yet, but we expect it to appear on the Battle Pass page once Treasure Hunters goes live.
Before the downtime begins, make sure to unlock all the free Fortnite skins that are still available this season. If you still haven't completed the current Battle Pass, you can use some of the best XP maps in Fortnite to level up quickly.
